How can a desired resource be included in a resource request?

If a project manager virtually plans a department and thereby submits a resource request to the department head, they can optionally specify a desired resource. In the project planner, the department is assigned first, followed by the desired individual: when assigning the desired resource, the row with the already assigned department must be selected.

In the Staffer, the desired resource is listed next to the requested department, and if the desired person is part of the department, they are additionally highlighted in color, allowing the department head to take this preference into account when allocating resources (but they are not required to do so!).

If the department head does not directly assign a person but instead forwards the request to one of their sub-departments or teams, the information about the desired resource is passed on to the respective leader. And this happens regardless of whether the desired resource is a member of the sub-department or team.
