How does the staffer distribute the work?

If an object is not completely displayed in Staffer (because the time window is too small), only the pro rata expenditure within the visible area is shown.

instance
“Staffer Test” work package, 14.11.23 - 18.04-24 has 110 working days. During this period, 14 days of effort are planned.
However, the working area shown is only from 14,11.23 - 31.12.23. That is only 32 working days (possibly different due to public holidays)
This means that only 14 T/110 * 32 = 4.07 T of expenditure will be incurred during this period.

When you select a resource, the entered value refers to the entire work package. The effort is therefore reduced globally.
The staffer then corrects the effort according to the time window.

example:
They pack the package with 4.1 hours, which are also recorded in full.
However, since the time window is still too small, the pro rata displayed expenditure is set at approx. 1 T
When checking with a large time window, all values are correct (except for a few curves)

CANdo even warns the user that the staggered package is not completely up to date.
It is recommended to make sure that the entire object is visible when making changes in the staffer.
