Matrix planning

In many companies, the project manager cannot simply plan a resource. The project manager requests a quantity of work from a department for certain tasks. The department manager then decides which employee in his team carries out the work. The interplay of project and department is called matrix organization. In Can Do, the department manager has a special app for this purpose, the “Staffer”. This shows all inquiries from all projects and how its staff has already been scheduled. He can then directly assign the requested work to one person or distribute it to several people.
