What is behind Watermodel?

Watermodel is an algorithm in Can Do for project planning and resource management.

It simulates the work distribution for employees within the boundaries of their work packages and independently of a period. Watermodel considers the complexity and dynamics of how a person organizes parallel tasks. It runs simulations to find combinations that work for employees, and no warning is necessary if a solution is found. However, the situation remains volatile as a single time feedback on a work package by an employee can require re-simulation to ensure tasks remain organized.
