Can Do allows manual entry of project requests or projects. These can also be imported from external systems such as Salesforce or SAP. During planning, skills or skill combinations can be directly assigned to a project. The system then checks in real time whether there are employees with the required skills and whether they are available during the requested time period.

Resources can have any number of roles or skills, and these skills can be planned individually or in combination. The software internally creates a "virtual" department consisting of all resources that have the required skills and calculates whether the work can be completed on time by these resources.
