Can time be recorded for other resources?

Can a department manager enter or correct time entries for their employees in exceptional cases?

Yes, this is possible. This function is not available in the standard setup and must first be activated system-wide by the administrator.

Once activated, a new button “Open Resource” will appear in the Time Tracking App.

A resource can be selected from the organizational tree for whom time entries should be recorded or corrected. A time entry screen for that specific resource will then open.

IMPORTANT: This function is only available to so-called VIPs (managers, deputies, admins) of a department and its sub-departments/teams.
If the user is not a VIP, an appropriate message will be displayed.
VIPs can be assigned in the master data of a department (HR Management → Manage Departments app).
